Dear Fellow Wyoming Taxidermist,

We at WATA would like to invite you as a fellow taxidermist to attend our state convention April 26-29 in Cody Wyoming at the Holiday Inn (Blair Hotels). We have included a registration form and itinerary for the show.

The WATA convention provides a great opportunity to meet fellow taxidermists from across the region and share ideas to improve our industry. Many of the major suppliers will also be there offering products for demonstration and sale. We also have three nationally acclaimed judges attending as well as our own members who have won state, national and world recognition. This is a great time to meet and share ideas about new materials and techniques.

As well as the show we have established a legal fund to address wildlife issues, laws, rules and regulations pertaining to our industry. Last year we also held a youth education seminar which we are continuing during the show this year to demonstrate hands on the art of taxidermy. Our project this year is a life-size wolf mount which will be completed on Saturday by the Boy Scouts-art students.

As our industry evolves WATA will continue to work within our own organization as well as with related industries to improve professionalism of our industry. We hope you can take time, even for a day, to attend our convention.

Thanks for your consideration and we hope to see you in Cody. For further information please contact me at 307-455-3549.

Respectfully yours,

Lynn Stewart WATA President
